If you're looking to get to know some of the faces you see around church, join the ladies of East Nashville for the next monthly get together. On Saturday, March 21st at 10am, we'll meet at Brushfire Pottery in Green Hills for a light breakfast and a time to paint your own coffee mug.
Church of the City participates in Lent through shared practices of giving up and taking up: Giving up what can distract us to create space for us to hear and respond to God; Taking up practices that ground us, realign us, and increase our attention to God’s voice.
The momentum and anticipation is growing for Thursday evening February 26th, when people from our community will come together for our Q Commons East Nashville event. Q Commons convenes local people to think, learn, and work together on common topics and issues in our city.
For nearly two years, our Franklin location has had the privilege of meeting at Hunter's Bend Elementary. Their space has served our church well, and years from now we will look back fondly on the infant stages of Church of the City in the halls and gymnasium of Hunter's Bend. However in recent months, we have outgrown the space.
